According to The Weekend Edition, Brisbane’s pizza scene is having a Roman moment — and In Teglia Pizzoteca is right at the heart of it.
Inspired by the rhythm of Rome, In Teglia leans into a more casual, come-and-go style of dining — think grab-and-gobble over long, drawn-out meals.
“The idea came from seeing it in action in Rome — it reminded me of an espresso bar, where people pop in for a quick bite before moving on. It’s part of the daily rhythm,” says owner Lachlan Sleeman.
The menu goes beyond traditional pizza al taglio, with focaccia sandwiches, tray-style servings and fresh salads by weight. Swing by at lunch for a curated selection, or in the evening when the offering expands and the atmosphere shifts.
On the drinks front, it’s all about aperitivo — with spritz favourites like Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz and limoncello variations, alongside tap beers and a thoughtful wine list.
Relaxed, vibrant and designed to fit seamlessly into your day — In Teglia is your new go-to, whenever the craving hits.
Open daily.
