Acclaimed Australian chef Phillip Johnson’s e’cco Bistro brings to HAVEN food that is honest, wholesome and full of flavour in a beautifully simplistic and no-nonsense setting. Inspired by the unique pleasure of a traditional bistro he experienced in France, Phillip established e’cco Bistro in Brisbane in 1995. With an emphasis on doing as little as possible with the best ingredients available, this hatted restaurant has become a Brisbane dining institution with a strong following. Phillip credits the restaurant’s success to its ability to constantly evolve. The move to call HAVEN home is just one very natural step in e’cco Bistro’s evolution. Friends of the restaurant, new and old, can look forward to Phillip and his team continuing to impress in the restaurant and also within their private dining room which overlooks the the iconic Gasometer.
